Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Policy
RocksView (“the Agency”) respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998, the text of which may be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, RocksView will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement.
1. Notice of Copyright Infringement
If you are a copyright owner or an agent thereof and believe that any content hosted on rocksview.com infringes upon your copyrights, you may submit a notification pursuant to the DMCA by providing our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information in writing (see 17 U.S.C § 512(c)(3) for further detail):
- Signature: A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
- Identification of the Work: Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (e.g., a link to your original work or a detailed description).
- Identification of Infringing Material: Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit the Agency to locate the material (please provide specific URLs).
- Contact Information: Your address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good Faith Statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy Statement: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

Note: Only DMCA notices should go to the Copyright Agent. Any other feedback, comments, or requests should be directed to our general contact form.
3. Counter-Notification
If you believe that your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us. To be effective, the counter-notification must be a written communication that includes the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that has been removed and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or if you are outside the US, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found).
